Found this forum through the McNaught website.

Saw a guitar on, which is a described as Tempest serial #0005. Can't find any information about this model. Can anyone provide information on this model and/or this particular guitar?
My wife and I are thinking about this guitar, since it looks absolutely gorgeous!

You can now listen to my entire album for free (link coming up)!
Let me preface by saying that yes I wrote a controversial headline to get more eyes on this. However, I do believe it is true.

My McNaught rocks and made me play better than I previously did.

I love Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie and other highly melodic shredders more than most. But even though 75% of Surfing With the Alien and maybe 70% of Passion & Warfare is just plain great songs, there is still what feels like filler to me. You know, stuff thatís on the CD just to show how versatile the artist is (Satriani singing / playing banjo / using very strange modes and weird Vai harmonizer stuff). I believe my CD has none of that. My goal was to make the most listenable guitar album ever, that can appeal to non-musicians and musicians alike. I thought it possible by having enough technical guitar wizardry to make it interesting for those who are into that sort of thing, but first and foremost to concentrate on songwriting and strong melodies for the majority of each song.

I challenge any guitar fan to take a listen to my album and decide for themselves. It has been out for almost 5 years now, and I still have a closet with 700 physical CDís (haha), but Iíve decided I want more people to hear the music and donít care about the money any more.
Take a listen here with this playlist, and voice any criticism or praise you want, I can take it. This album did take me 4 years to write and record, and the sound quality is very high.

Also, I have some videos of some of the songs at:

That's beautiful Dave!  Nice job!  By the way, haven't been on here for a while.  Hi guys!  I was just sitting here listening to some ARS and having a few glasses of wine.  Who on here is a fan of Barry Bailey?  Awesome guitarist from the South.

Hi folks,
I am looking to sell one of my DTM's.

It has hardly been played. I would like to build another different spec and can't afford to keep so many guitars around. Contact me if you would like more info.

Thanks for the suggestion. So are these forums not really monitored anymore by the Dave's and focus has shifted over to the social media sites? If so then, nuts, I would have to create a Facebook account  Sad

I wonder if that might also explain why I didn't get a response to a bunch of questions I sent off the other week when I used the contact form on the website. I found it odd that I did not get any response.
