Very cool ... thanks for the post.  This looks to be it.  According to The Other Dave, "this one is actually Gladiator Blue, but, it's in the same family as the Peacock Blue."

I know ... I know ... how could I get rid of such a beauty.  Well, it's just one of those things ... G.A.S.!!!

OK all ... here goes.  I need to raise some cash and have a few McNaughts.  This one is awesome, but it's time to move it since I don't play it.  I am a closet guitarist and don't play on stage.  Not being on stage leads me to playing with a guitar on my lap from a stool.  Well, you can imagine this one doesn't play all that well from my lap.  And since I have a Double Cutaway, a Phoenix,  a re-topped Strat and my fave McNaught ... the 97 NAMM Strat-style double hum with pointy headstock ... I am putting this one on the block to get it to a home where it'll be loved and played.

The guitar itself is in perfect condition.  There isn't a scratch on it.  I don't have the details/specs as I bought it from the original owner and the info wasn't passed on.  There is nothing in the case ... no case candy ... but the original TKL case is perfect.  Maybe one of the Dave's can chime in if they recognize and remember the specs.  All I know is that this thing cranks!

As stated, I'm in need of some dough so I'm not interested in trades.  I think $2700 is more than fair for this early McNaught V, plus $40 for shipping.  On the back of the headstock is "V5" and "Triplet Set #3 of 3".  It has a 3-way switch and a push-pull Tone control to turn the monster Hums into Singles.





I will post more pics shortly.  Just wanted to get this out there.  It's a great guitar and for a great price.

They don't call you "RAZOR RANDY" for nothin".  Great playing.  Randy Rhoads was my biggest idol, guitar hero, so on and so forth growing up.  Thanks for posting the video.  Now get back in your room and record more videos young man,.....
