Hey guys...im almost finished specing out my Mcnaught and im gonna go with the IronMan bridge pickup after hearing it here and all the good things everyones saying about them.  The only thing that Im having trouble deciding is on a versatile neck pickup.  I want the guitar to be as versatile as possible so im looking for clean, articulate and creamy on the neck....as opposed to the fire and brimstone that the Ironman unleashes on the bridge.  Godwoods, Crossroads or Darkbursts? or maybe something else entirely

I love my Goodwoods!  Semour Duncans' Jazz is a great neck pup also...I use my neck pup most of the time when soloing and have experienced kick-ass tones with the two.  I would say the Goodwood is my favorite though.  Good luck!

Creamy & articulate is a perfect description of the Darkburst. They sing. I have them in my VDC & R8 Les Paul. I also have Goodwoods in my Rossington SG BUT they're not as "articulate" to my ears as the DB's.
Jim makes some amazing PU's.

I will have to give my nod to the more green set from Jims line up, but if I were you I would just call Jim and talk with him he might do you a set just for you
