I thought it would be cool to have a thread in which Ariel could keep us posted on his recordings, travels, new music and all the stuff that comes with being a pro recording artist.
If you have not been there, here is a link to Ariel's website.

www.arielpozzo.com.ar/

It's a real cool site, with some video, mp3's, and lots of gear. Definitely check out the music!!

Very good idea O.D.  I am an information junkie and would love to hear and discuss with Ariel anything he had to say on the topic of guitars, amplifiers, tone, and the music business!  Smiley

I went ahead and made this a sticky thread so that it would stay right up top on the page. Hopefully Ariel will share with us, I know we are all interested in what he has to say.

Guys, colour me honored and humbled by this!
Ive been thru many more guitars than Id ever need, all in two years. But since I got the G5 I have kinda settled on the guitars I have now...I only need a good strat (again...haha).
Ive been in the studio recording the new Ariel Pozzo CD...lots of work to do yet, but its looking good so far.
Questions, comments?

I'm a one-man orchestra...hehe

I produce my own material, compose, arrange and record everything.
I love building the music up, like layers of notes. I always do all guitars, bass and drum loops, and then I replace the drums in the studio with a real drumer, and maybe a couple of friends might come over to play some bass parts.
I mix my own music too, and I may even do the mastering. Why? Just because I feel every step in the composing-arranging-recording and mixing process of a given piece contributes to its final musical aura.

That is ultimately what many of us would hope to do, myself included. Many kudos to you for sharing your ideas with us Ariel.  I wrote music for years in assorted bands and would always get stuck with where to go with a song, and after I got help with a particular song by another band memeber, the entire piece went in a completely different direction. But with your system, you control the final product which is all you and thats cool. I don't mind collaborating on my ideas, its just more you when you do it all. That sometimes works to your advantage, sometimes not.
