This thread is pretty old, and my new favorites are DR Tite Fits or Elixir Nanowebs (both 10's)

Yup, DR Tite Fits are what I use Smiley I like the tone of Elixirs, but they have a slightly strange feel to them that I don't like. I'd put em on an acoustic though. That'd be cool.

I really like the Elixir strings - once you get used to the odd feel they're really nice.  I tried the Cleartone EMP strings and they don't sound quite as bright.  I also use D'Addario XL's (9's or 10's)on my whammy-bar equipped guitars since they sound good and it's not as expensive when I break 'em  Wink .
